Gianni065 Posted June 2, 2006 Report Share Posted June 2, 2006 x Batterfield: si costruiscono elicotteri così giganteschi per poter trasportare carichi molto grossi appesi al baricentro, anche di molte decine di tonnellate. Questo è utilissimo nei lavori di costruzione di edifici e strutture in zone dove non si riesce ad arrivare facilmente (pensiamo su una montagna, su un grattacielo in costruzione ecc...) e torna utile anche per operazioni di recupero. Si pensi alla necessità di recuperare un aereo finito in una zona impervia, ad esempio, o una capsula spaziale rientrata nel posto sbagliato, e così via. E se hanno voluto fare un prototipo del genere, vuol dire che un'applicazione almeno in mente ce l'avevano, non si sprecano i soldi tanto per fare. Quando raduni gli esperti mica gli chiedi di fare un'elicottero a caso. Gli dici: ho bisogno di un'elicottero capace di sollevcare questi pesi, di operare a queste altitudini dove c'è questo clima ecc..... Ant Posted June 2, 2006 Report Share Posted June 2, 2006 E' una macchina davvero enorme, fa un impressione quando ci stai vicino... Oggi ho scaricato un documentario sul Mi-12. Tra l'altro c'era il video del suo primo volo sperimentale (che non e' riuscito). E sono state anche menzionate le ragioni per qui e' servito un elicottero del genere: i militari in quel periodo avevano piu di 40 tipi di carichi che potevano essere trasportati da un elicottero del genere. Il motivo principale - trasporto di missili strategici. batterfield Quello nella prima foto e' il Chinook? In effetti e' molto meno potente: puo portare un carico di 12-13 tonnellate mantre il Mi-12 ne ha alzato piu' di 40 (record mondiale tuttora inbattuto).
