The UK signed a GBP317 million (USD435 million) contract with Leonardo in September, which will give future Typhoon aircraft the ability to undertake electronic attack missions.    ...... "

"Leonardo" presumo sia "Leonardo UK", è da capire se il radar finirà solo sui tifoni inglesi, o anche sugli italiani.

Per adesso, penso  , gl'inglesi.

Per i nostri non vedo notizie al riguardo .

Comunque è una capacità tutta da implementare .

Ieri un Typhoon della RAF ha avuto un problema al carrello poco prima dell'atterraggio. Il problema è stato risolto e l'aereo è atterrato in sicurezza.

Intanto ho trovato il report declassificato dell'incidente al Typhoon FGR4 ZJ943 avvenuto in atterraggio a China Lake il 23 aprile 2008.

Assegnato il contratto per la fornitura dei radar AESA per i nuovi Eurofighter della Luftwaffe ...
