This is the reproduction version of the 95th Fighter Interceptor Squadron that (I think) flew the F-4 Phantom many years ago. Their mascot, Mr. Bones, lives in current bomber and fighter squadrons around the USAF.

This is the one of several REPRODUCTION patches that has been created to commemmorate the history of the 487th Fighter Squadron. This is the patch, but it comes with an 8x10 poster that holds it in a plastic sleeve and has the history of the unit on the front AND the back. Quite a collectors item. This patch was the F-4's Depot Maintenance patch. They are the ones who worked on the Phantoms when they were delivered to the "Depot" for routine maintenance. Each F-4 was required to be sent to the Depot every 4-5 years in order to be "refurbished".

This is the color version of the current unit patch for the 29th Weapons Squadron. The 29th weapons squadron is based at Hurlburt Field, Florida and is part of the USAF weapons school (detachment). It is not a support squadron, but a training squadron just like all the rest (F-15, F-16, A-10), yet they fly the AF Spec Ops planes (AC-130, MC-130 and MH-53).
