Vultur Posted February 26, 2013 Report Share Posted February 26, 2013 (edited) Che io sappia era un ottimo aereo messo alla prova in più di un conflitto. Non mi pare fosse concorrente diretto del C-130 e quasi sicuramente non aveva il potenziale di sviluppo del C-130. Per riempirlo dello stesso numero di para del C-130H bisognava ammassarli tutti nella stiva e smontare le panche di tela. Cioè dovevano ammassarsi letteralmente uno sull'altro seduti dove potevano e non stavano molto comodi e in pratica non c'era spazio per i controlli prelancio. On October 10, 1963, a political crisis arose which, for a time, threatened the Transall programme, or at least, German participation in the project. The Federal German parliamentary defence committee voted against the ratification of the Franco-German Transall agreement and called for comparative tests to be made against the Lockheed Hercules. This volte-face arose as the result of lobbying by a Hercules promotion team, of such intensity as to cause public complaints from the German Defence Minister. On October 23 the committee rescinded the decision to evaluate the Hercules ....
