Andrea75
Army aviation brigade realizes integrated C2I for large aircraft fleet operation An army aviation brigade under the Nanjing Military Area Command (MAC) of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) organized an air-to-ground assault drill on the morning of November 14, 2012. Based on the C2I (command, control and intelligence) system, the brigade realized integrated operation of large aircraft fleet in multiple types in the drill. “In the past, the planning of air routes took much more time,” said Sheng Jianzhong, chief of staff of the brigade. “Now, with the C2I system, the time needed to transmit such intelligence as operational plan, current situation and air route to all the combat helicopters can be shortened to one-tenth of the original time.” Chen Jian, leader of an air fleet of the brigade, told reporters that precision and accuracy are a must in the command and control of a coordinated operation involving large fleet of aircraft in multiple types. Errors were inevitable in the pilot's visual judgment of the directions and air battle situations in the past. "Now the C2I system provides precise intelligence of the entire air and ground situations, which has significantly helped improve the accuracy in coordinated operation," said Chen Jian. The C2I system and its application mode for army aviation troops developed by the brigade have been recommended in the entire Army aviation units of the PLA. Andrea75
PLA largest reshuffle in recent years completed The largest reshuffle of high-ranking general officers of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) in recent years was started before the convening of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), and was completed recently. A total of 21 senior general officers of the Central Military Commission (CMC) of the CPC, the four general headquarters/departments of the PLA, the seven major military area commands of the PLA as well as single service and arm, etc. will assume their new offices. segue una tabella dettagliata con tutti gli incarichi PLA’s command information system becomes normalized and standardized Zeng Weihua, director of an information support base under the General Staff Headquarters (GSH) of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA), still clearly remembered the scene in an exercise of the PLA several years ago where more than a dozen command terminals of various systems of various services were placed in front of the on-site commanding leaders of the PLA general headquarters/departments, but none of them got interconnected. However, with years of hard chasing, the PLA has achieved great breakthrough in command information system. For example, in last two years, the troop units of the PLA have been equipped with the integrated command information system, through which the weaponry platforms of the armed forces are aggregated into a combat system initially possessing the capability of systematic operation to interconnect with the information-based battlefield. A combat drill on maritime joint defense of the Jinan Military Area Command (MAC) of the PLA was unveiled in October of 2011,and the integrated command information system made its debut in this theater-level joint operation of the three services and showed great power. Nevertheless, being clear-headed is still vital at this moment. “There is no denying that the information construction of the PLA has shown a thriving momentum of development, but we still have a long way to go to catch up with the developed countries,” said Liu Nu, director of an information research institute under the GSH of the PLA.
