Più che altro direi che c'è anche da considerare la quantità dei soldi forniti e i tempi moderatamente ristretti, direi che un nuovo motore e serbatoio sono più che fattibili, mentre portarla a 5k libbre direi che si andrebbe a toccare molto Anche l'esterno, sarebbe un missile nuovo quasi completamente

L'AGM-109 avrà bisogno prima o poi di un sostituto essendo tutto sommato coevo dell'AGM-86, sebbene in produzione molto più a lungo in versioni sempre più aggiornate.

Il derivato AGM-158C era proposto come sostituto dell'Harpoon lanciato da nave, ma pare sia stato scelto l'NSM di Kongsberg-Raytheon.

Al momento l'antinave di LM resta in pista nelle versioni aerolanciate.

Vedremo in futuro se un derivato dell'JASSM XR può riciclarsi per ricoprire la fascia alta dei cruise lanciati da nave, attualmente occupata dal Tomahawk.

No US forces were seriously injured in the operation. 
A military dog that chased Baghdadi into a tunnel before he detonated his suicide vest was slightly injured and has returned to service, Milley said. 
The Pentagon is not identifying the dog for security reasons.
