Ok tuccio grazie!

E-3G ..... primo impiego in teatro operativo .....

The US Air Force has sent its newly upgraded E-3G Sentry into harm’s way for the first time on a deployment to Southwest Asia, where it will presumably be supporting the increasingly cluttered air campaign against Islamic State militants in Iraq and Syria.

The deployment that began 18 November marks the Boeing Block 40/45 upgrade programme’s long-awaited combat debut after more than 12 years of development, production, installation and testing.

"As a result of routine technical inspection on RAF E-3D aircraft, an issue has been identified related to the integrity‎ of the electrical wiring and cabin conditioning system. Safety remains our paramount concern; therefore, the Sentry fleet will only fly again once the ongoing rectification work is complete," a spokesman for the RAF said.

China's aerial early warning (AEW) aircraft are 50 percent more efficient than US ones in terms of electromagnetic resources utility, prompting military analysts to say on Sunday that the Chinese aircraft could retain maximum detection and communication capabilities even under strong hostile electromagnetic interference.
Tang Xiaobin, a senior scientist at the state-owned China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC), developed an innovative theory on utilizing electromagnetic resources more efficiently and put it into use after she joined the Chinese AEW aircraft project in 1999, Beijing-based Science and Technology Daily reported on Friday.
