"Leonardo" presumo sia "Leonardo UK", è da capire se il radar finirà solo sui tifoni inglesi, o anche sugli italiani.

Per adesso, penso  , gl'inglesi.

Per i nostri non vedo notizie al riguardo .

Comunque è una capacità tutta da implementare .

Ieri un Typhoon della RAF ha avuto un problema al carrello poco prima dell'atterraggio. Il problema è stato risolto e l'aereo è atterrato in sicurezza.

Intanto ho trovato il report declassificato dell'incidente al Typhoon FGR4 ZJ943 avvenuto in atterraggio a China Lake il 23 aprile 2008.

Sembra una serie di aggiornamenti e di installazioni ( Meteor , E-scan , Brimstone ) che riguarda soprattutto la RAF.

O meglio , a parte l'annuncio roboante , non è chiaro quale forza aerea  vi partecipa .

Nuovo, importante contratto stipulato fra Eurofighter GmbH e NETMA al fine di estendere efficienza e disponibilità del velivolo per ulteriori 65 mesi ...

Appunto , dato che parlavano anche di acquistare lo F-35  .

Un minimo di standardizzazione ci vuole : a che serve avere tanti aerei di tanti tipi se i centri manutenzione strabordano di pezzi di ricambio diversi fra loro  ?
